Reagan Ruslim CA, CPA(NH), LLB, LLM

Barrister and Solicitor

“The taxpayer: that’s someone who works for the federal government, but doesn’t have to take a civil service examination.” President Ronald Reagan

Reagan is both a professional accountant and a lawyer. He worked for a big four accounting firm earning the designations of both Chartered Professional Accountant in Canada and Certified Public Accountant in the US. After several years as an accountant, Reagan decided to expand his horizons and attended law school at the University of Western Ontario. His quest for continuous improvement has provided him with an unparalleled skillset in listening, negotiation, advocacy, and legal and financial analyses. Long story short, he’s the guy that everyone wants on their team.

Known by colleagues for a considered, results-driven approach, Reagan has an interpersonal savvy and empathy that allows him to establish thoughtful strategies that produce optimal outcomes every time. His experience in law, coupled with a strong background in finance (including risk management and taxation), enables him to provide practical, timely, and effective solutions to client challenges. In 2019, Reagan completed his LLM in tax law from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University.
